Began climbing with Larry Dolekci. The chosen approach was the south ridge and summit ridge to the top. 8377 feet elevation about 5.6 grade. Took just under 7 hours including the down climb with about 10 roped pitches and a lot of short roping between the two of us. We scrambled down the back. So glad to be back in the mountains – can’t believe how much I missed this. Got blisters on both my baby toes from trying out new boots. Apparently a 7 hour climb is not a great way to try out new boots. Looking forward to 4 days of climbing next weekend in the Squamish area.
